Bienvenido!
Featured on the popular KTLA 5 Burrous Bites, El Criollo Peruvian Restaurant is like no other Peruvian cuisine. It’s a gem hidden in the City of Industry, but don’t let the outside area fool you. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’re at home. You are greeted by the Chef himself and served like if you were his special guest. As soon as you walk in you can smell the tantalising aroma of the food along with the rich energetic sounds of Salsa music in the background. The intimate setting at night makes this place a “go-to” for a romantic dinner for two.
The owner, Chef Marco, adds his own personal flavorful touches to each and every authentic Peruvian dish. The specialty plate at El Criollo Peruvian Cuisine is the Lomo Saltado, a popular, traditional Peruvian dish, a stir fry that combines marinated strips of sirloin (or other beef steak) with red onions, tomatoes, french fries, and other ingredients; and is typically served with rice. The food servings all come with his unique patented spicy green salsa (AHI) The combo is delicious! El Criollo Peruvian Cuisine also specializes in many Peruvian seafood dishes like the famous “Jalea”-Fried fish, squid, and other seafood, garnished with a pickled red onion.

Food is amazing quality along with great portions. I've tried a few things on the menu and I absolutely love the lomo saltado and just can't get away from it. The quality is among the best Peruvian food I've ever had if not the best, and I try food everywhere all over. Price is perfect and isn't expensive. Inside is also very beautiful even down to the details with the ambient lighting and also the menu looks awesome too. I just absolutely love this place and recommend it to everyone.

I've been to about 10 Peruvian places. So far this has been my favorite. When I first walked in, I was given amazing green sauce served with fresh bread. It was delicious. I ordered Lomo Saltado, Peruvian ceviche and papa relleno. The lomo was amazing! The ceviche was soooo good. The pappa was stuffed with lomo and made with yuca. I am so happy with this place. I'm bringing everyone here. The owners was so gracious and accommodating.
